Michael Hoza: Verdant Drama, Sky over Earth in central Ohio
on view June 19 – Aug. 4, 2012
opening reception Tues., June 19, 6-8pm
This exhibition of oil paintings by local artist Michael Hoza is inspired by the sky over the earth in central Ohio. A student of sociology and philosophy at Youngstown State and The Ohio State University, Hoza’s paintings are careful considerations of particular moments and places. With a sense of the powerful expressions of nature, the artist has turned his eye toward the land and sky where he lives and the great drama of which it is part.
