Dublin Arts Council will bring the work of renowned Chilean muralist and printmaker Alejandro “Mono” González to the gallery for an exclusive three-day exhibition, Sept. 14 – 16, 2015. The exhibition, a collaboration between Dublin Arts Council and the Department of Arts Administration, Education and Policy and the Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at The Ohio State University, will consist of 30 – 40 prints. He later studied Theatrical Design at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Chile, and served as the lead scenic painter for Chile’s Teatro Municipal in the 1980s. González has lectured internationally about his iconic public artwork.
