In the work of sculptor Alfred Tibor, hope is offered in the face of horrors.

The 95-year-old Columbus resident — born to a Jewish family in Konyar, Hungary — has experienced the latter, having survived the Holocaust.

In an interview with the Columbus Jewish Historical Society in 2013, Tibor discussed what he endured as a prisoner during World War II.
