The exhibition is on view at Dublin Arts Council, 7125 Riverside Dr., in Dublin, Ohio through Nov. 3, 2017. Dublin Arts Council will host student workshops during the exhibition. The photographs and stories in this exhibition will also be available in book format from The Ohio State University Press.

A series of community conversations beginning in early summer, presented in collaboration with Ohio History Connection, will address topics including new American artmaking, mental health and wellness, integration with law enforcement and more. Dublin Arts Council is presenting Urur Dhex-Dhexaad Ah, which translates to “Community in Between” from Somali, in collaboration with guest preparators Ruth Smith and Qorsho Hassan. Additional support is provided the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation and by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically.
