Dublin Arts Council hosts a year-round Visual Arts Series of gallery exhibitions by local, regional and international artists.
Emerging 2025: Student Exhibition
Jan 11- Feb 26
Students K-12 submit artwork of all mediums in this juried exhibition. Through Emerging, students gain valuable hands-on experience learning how to present their work as a professional artist and the community comes together to celebrate the next generation of creativity.
A Journey of Iceland —
From Darkness to Light
March 8 - April 30
A sensory journey exploring Iceland depicted through visuals, poetry and music. Experience the complex beauty and ruggedness of Icelandic environment and culture through the themes of this exhibition including weather, landscape, culture and the unseen.
Vivian Ripley:
50 Years & Beyond
May 10 - June 27
Vivian Ripley is an internationally recognized artist of varied subject matter, and inherent in all her works is the beauty of color and how it is affected by light and shade. She works in acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and colored pencil (sometimes combining media), always striving to achieve beauty in each medium through her emotional use of color and tone.
Artist Applications
We are currently accepting applications for 2025/2026. If you would like the opportunity to exhibit your artwork in the Dublin Arts Council gallery, please send us the following:
- Letter of interest stating theme and inspiration for your proposed exhibition
- Artist's statement
- Resume/C.V.
- At least five images representing the medium and type of artwork you are proposing for the exhibition
