Wine connoisseurs and wine lovers – prepare your taste buds for an array of incredible flavors. We are ONE day (Sat., Nov. 2 from 6-9pm) away from tasting a dozen fabulous wines and exceptional hors d’oeuvres at Dublin Arts Council’s annual Wine Tasting fundraiser. We hope you’ll join us for a lovely Saturday evening at Dublin Arts Center unwinding with friends, enjoying the last days of Shifting Perspectives: My Perspective and supporting the arts in Dublin.

Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits will be arranging two tasting tables, international and domestic, for the evening. The international table will feature select bottles from France, Italy, Argentina and Spain while the domestic table will highlight California fine wines. Make sure to sample each and pair it with delicious food offerings from Bleu & Fig! Your favorite bottles are available for purchase at The Andersons General Store. Can’t wait for Saturday? Take a sneak peek below at select tasting notes and food pairings for the evening.

Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits offerings:

Cruz de Alba Crianza – Ribera Del Duero (Spain)

Tasting Notes: Promising aromas of plums, candied cherry and kirsch. It opens up to plenty of spicy compote. It shows a well-developed body and a hint of tannin with ripe fruit and excellent, balancing acidity. Pairs will with grilled rib eye or pork steaks with rich sauces, and casserole dishes.

Kunde “Magnolia Lane” Sauvignon Blanc

Tasting Notes: This is a crisp, yet smooth wine offering lemon zest and orange rind aromatics, grapefruit and yellow nectarine flavors, and lovely length across the palate.

CigarZin Zinfandel

Tasting Notes: CigarZin has notes of deep black fruit with a punch of spice and crushed black pepper on the nose. The rich, lush and well-structured wine is hearty with exotic fruit characteristics.
