The original Riverboxes™ Challenge and its associated geocoin have been retired. Many thanks to all who participated in the original challenge!

Take the Riverboxes: Confluence Challenge!

To complete the new Riverboxes: Confluence challenge, use the Riverboxes booklet (provided at Dublin Arts Council) to find and collect a stamp from every Riverbox in the series.* Bring your completed booklet back to Dublin Arts Council to earn a custom trackable Riverboxes: Confluence Challenge geopin that you can wear proudly to show your achievement!

*In the event that a Riverbox is missing its stamp, you may create a small sketch of the Riverbox in the stamp space to complete your challenge. You do not need to collect stamps from the Riverboxes that are currently off view in order to complete the challenge.

Take the Riverboxes™ Challenge II: SWACO Challenge!

Explore and discover all 13 Riverboxes (artist-created vessels inspired by letterboxing and geocaching) placed throughout Dublin, Ohio parks, and keep Dublin’s parks clean and beautiful along the way.

To take the SWACO Photo Challenge, visit Riverboxes.org to retrieve clues for each Riverbox. Upon finding each Riverbox, snap a picture of yourself with the Cache In Trash Out (CITO) kit (trash dispenser with trashbags, CITO information) at each Riverbox. Once you’ve taken all 13 pictures, visit Dublin Arts Center at 7125 Riverside Dr., Dublin, Ohio to conclude the Riverboxes Challenge II and receive your custom geocoin!

Cache InTrash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community to preserve our environment. Please use the trash bags provided at each Riverbox to collect and dispose of any trash found during your adventures. Additionally, you can bring a photo or your full bag of trash to Dublin Arts Center to receive your own dispenser to continue your CITO efforts wherever you go!

If you post your challenge photos online, remember to tag @DublinArts on Instagram and Twitter and use #Riverboxes to share your adventures!
